Training Information

Wesco conducts training for our customers throughout the year at various locations throughout our territory.  Please reference the Training Schedule below for detail information regarding class information and locations.  Anyone wishing to attend a training session should complete a registration form and return it via fax or mail to the appropriate location at least 30 days prior to the session.  The EETC Technician Certification Registration form is also available for you.  Each registration form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the forms.

Once again for this years training we will be offering our EETC (Equipment & Engine Training Council) Certification testing program for golf course technicians. Wesco Turf Supply Inc. will train and administer five certification tests in conjunction with OPEESA (Outdoor Power Equipment and Engine Association) the tests will available to you at Wesco Turf Supply Inc. and then mailed directly to OPEESA. They will grade them and return the results directly to you. For those who pass the test OPEESA will send a certification, test results on the subject passed,  patches for your uniforms, and other items that will promote future learning in our industry. We strongly recommend that you visit the EETC website that we have provided for you. Click on the OPEESA link and order the study guides to prepare yourself before taking the test. Each test consists of approximately 150 questions and takes about two hours to complete.
All classes will include classroom instruction along with “hands on” work using Toro equipment and components. Classes will last about 7 hours and will include lunch, and handouts used for necessary repairs on the subjects covered.

Please choose the training session that is closest to your facility and fax back the registration form to Attn: Frank Pitman at Fax # 407-333-9246.  Upon receipt of your fax we will send you a confirmation and directions to the school.
