Sports Fields & Grounds Management
In the mid 1980's Wesco Turf recognized that the sports field & grounds markets in Florida and Georgia differed quite a bit from golf. Although many of the products we offer to both golf and grounds markets are nearly identical, their specific applications, equipment life cycles, and the purchasing processes are noticeably different. Associates responsible for sports turf and municipal markets require a different skill set from the folks responsible for the golf market. Solution: Wesco created a dedicated team of grounds professionals, ensuring that all customer needs are clearly understood and fulfilled. Our SF&G associates have backgrounds in horticulture, landscaping, ball field management, and procurement.
Wesco's Sports Fields & Grounds Division proudly represents Toro, Bernhard, Salsco, Lastec, Rahn Industries, and Golf Lift. We actively support and participate in the Sports Turf Managers Association, Florida Recreation & Parks Association, and National Institute of Governmental Purchasing regional chapters.
We offer our Toro products on the Florida Department of Purchasing Contract #760-000-10-1 (i.e. the Florida state contract), the GSA contracts #GS-06F-0012R and GS-07F-5432R, and via the National IPA cooperative agreement.

Most municipalities and sports teams don't have dedicated people to maintain and service specialized mowing equipment. Reel and bedknife grinding can require a substantial investment. Training and set up can be tricky. Wesco offers a full line of service contracts for all of our products. Many municipalities and sports teams 'outsource' their service and maintenance using Wesco's professionals to keep it right.

Commercial Parts
We built our business and earned our reputation on parts availability. Wesco is very, VERY good at parts. Wesco Turf stocks approximately 10,000 sku's of OEM service and maintenance parts to be able to quickly respond to your needs. Same-day local shipping provides customers with next day parts 90% of the time. If we don't have it, we will ship parts directly from our vendors for the same price as ground service from Sarasota. Commercial Service
Excellence in commercial service is a core competency at Wesco. We have over 26 certified service technicians in three convenient locations. In addition to our 'in-house technical horsepower', we also have five field service advisors responsible for on-site operator training and technician education. Commercial Equipment Training Programs
Wesco conducts regular training programs for our customers throughout the year. Some of our classes provide valuable continuous education credits for superintendents. Classes are held both on-site as well as at our service facilities. Reference the Training Schedule for more details on class dates, agendas, and accreditation.
Service Technician certification is also critical to both of us. The most knowledgeable technicians minimize both costs and downtime.
