Wesco Turf will be showing off the new Outcross 9060 at the Florida Turfgrass Association 66th Annual Conference & Show

The all-new Outcross 9060 is an invaluable tool in the long-standing battle Turf Managers face to “do more with less.” This machine is a time-saving, easy-to-use, multi-purpose, turf-friendly powerhouse that brings year-round flexibility, consistency and productivity to turf maintenance operations.

Don’t mistake the Outcross 9060 for the agricultural tractors often found on golf courses and sports fields. It is not a tractor! The Outcross 9060 does all the work of a tractor AND a super-duty utility vehicle without the headaches often associated with operating each in turf maintenance applications. Its turf-friendliness, ease-of-use, programmable attachment parameters, and automotive-like controls put the Outcross 9060 in a league of its own. This functionality and versatility gives Outcross users the ability to replace two or three pieces of equipment with one Outcross, and still do more.

Do More with Less (Stress)
Operation is simple and safe, which gives invaluable peace of mind and flexibility to the operation-critical tasks that keep Turf Managers up at night. Set-up and save each attachment (one time, upfront) to ensure the machine performs exactly to your specifications. This takes the decision making away from the operator and puts it into the hands of the manager. Save settings for up to sixteen attachments for easy use and consistent performance a week, month or years later, no matter the skill level of the operator in the seat. All Toro attachment settings are pre-populated and allied attachments can be added in just minutes.

Outcross’s 4-wheel steering makes it highly maneuverable, stable, and extremely turf-friendly. Its electronically-controlled traction drive and low center of gravity helps it “stick” to side hills and traverse challenging terrain. It’s balanced design, tires, and the fact that it does not require front counter-weights when using a rear attachment make it lighter and significantly more gentle on the turf than a tractor. It’s delicate for fine turf yet sturdy for demanding conditions.

Do More with Less (Labor)
The Outcross 9060 has a hydrostatic drive system, eliminating the need for an operator who is proficient with the complicated controls and shifting commonly associated with a traditional tractor. Simply select forward or reverse, and drive! The ability to put less-experienced operators in the seat, with little concern for turf or machine damage, provides flexibility and keeps the team productive.
Pre-set parameters and programable “guardrails” ensure the operator is productive while keeping them from causing damage or operating outside the manager’s exact specifications. Simple one-action operation of complicated attachments, such as an aerator, keeps the operator focused on the task at hand. Cruise control, shuttle shifting, a passenger seat, and intuitive controls add to the ease-of-use and efficiency.

Do More with Less (Resources)
Whether a high-end private club or a mid-level municipality, Outcross can be a money saver. The Outcross 9060 does the work of multiple machines. Customers are looking to invest their scarce resources into a machine that can be used all day, every day, all year-round for multiple tasks rather than dedicated machines with limited capabilities. The Outcross puts their investment to work every day and pays back in consistency, efficiency, and reliability.

Save money by maintaining one machine instead of two or three. Spread fertilizer and seed more accurately to reduce waste. Bring extra materials, tools, and laborers to the job site to avoid burning fuel on multiple trips back to the shop. Spend less on repairing damage caused by operator error or turning tires. Use existing three-point, drawbar, or loader attachments to maximize previous investments in implements.

Do More with Less (Time)
The Outcross 9060 will always be on the move. With three-point, drawbar, bed and loader capabilities, productivity comes standard. Outcross owners can mow grass, spread fertilizer, load sand, haul a pallet of sod, aerate, topdress, remove snow and ice, blow leaves, prune roots, spread seed, tow a trailer, sweep a path, chip wood, and much, much more.

Quickly change between attachments with a remote control that allows the operator to creep the machine forward or backward or raise and lower the three-point while standing near the rear of the machine. In just a few minutes you can switch from a three-point attachment to the cargo bed and haul over two tons, or hook up the loader to move a variety of materials.
